In order to retrieve your password, go to the main Play-Cricket site http://play-cricket.com/, click on the Sign In link in the top right corner and then use the 'forgotten your login details?' link in the window that appears; enter your email address and you will receive an e-mail explaining how to reset your password. Resetting your password will then automatically log you in with the appropriate username linked to that e-mail.

How I receive the ECB Player Communication emails (Honours Boards).
A player will receive the weekly ECB Player Communication including the County
Honours Board if
a full scorecard of an administered competition is uploaded to Play-cricket.com.
the individual has a Play-Cricket.com record.
a player has a valid email address within their Play-Cricket.com record.
the individual has opted in to receive ECB Information.
All must be in place to receive the Player Communication emails.
How do I create a player record?
Please start from your club site’s homepage. If you don’t know how to get there, search for the club using the Cricket Directory in the middle of the Play-Cricket.com homepage, then select the appropriate link.
Please click on the ‘Sign Up’ button in the right hand corner of your site’s homepage.
Complete all the required fields. To receive ECB Player Communication emails (Honours Boards) please tick ‘Yes’ to I would like to receive ECB Information.
The e-mail format – select HTML from the drop down menu
The name of your club should appear in the text box at the bottom of the form. If it doesn’t, then to gain membership of your club site select ‘Search Site’ and follow the steps to select your clubs Play-Cricket.com site. This is important, by carrying out this action your stats will appear within your clubs Play—Cricket.com site. Once completed please hit submit.
How do I update my player record so I receive ECB Player Communication emails (Honours Boards)?
If you are a current user or have play-cricket.com user profile please select login, top right hand corner of Play-Cricket.com homepage. Sign in or click here ‘Forgotten your login details’ if you are not sure you have an account or can’t remember your password.
Once a user is logged into their account, his/her name will appear at the top right hand corner of the screen. Click on your name and select ‘Edit Account’. Complete the information required on each tab (Player Details / Contact information / Profile etc). Within the Profile tab please update all the required fields. To receive ECB Player Communication emails (Honours Boards) please ticket ‘Yes’ to I would like to receive ECB Information.
Select HTML from the drop down menu as the email format. Once completed please click Save Profile.
How do I become a member of my club’s Play-cricket.com site?
Please login to your user record. Once a user is logged into their account, his/her name will appear at the top right hand corner of the screen. Click on your name and select ‘Edit Account’. Within the Membership & Roles tab of your user record please select ‘Choose another site’. Please follow the steps to request membership to your club’s site.
Once you are a member of your club’s site your stats will appear within your club’s Play—Cricket.com site.
Administrator has left the club and nobody has admin roles anymore?
Contact the helpdesk. We can confirm who has administrator status at the club and if nobody left is contactable we can go through the process of transferring the site (it involves sending in a club-headed or chairman signed letter to the ECB offices to confirm the transfer).
I need Administrator roles but we don’t know who the previous Admin was?
In the first instance, contact the club using the Contact Club link at the top of the site’s homepage. If there is no response, Contact the System Helpdesk and we can assist you.
I have Administrator roles but I don’t see them when I logged in?
Roles are site specific so make sure that you have logged into your club’s site and the main Play-Cricket.com site. Click on your name in the top right hand corner. If you have administration rights, the link to Site Administration will appear in the dropdown list.
How do I update my player availability?
Please login to your user record. Once a user is logged into their account, his/her name will appear at the top right hand corner of the screen. Click on your name and select ‘Edit Account’. Select the Player Availability tab and tick the appropriate boxes. Remember to save the changes.
How do I change my email address or contact details?
Please login to your user record. Once a user is logged into their account, his/her name will appear at the top right hand corner of the screen. Click on your name and select ‘Edit Account’. Update your details using the Player Details and Contact Information tabs.
Incorrect scorecard information is the responsibility of the clubs and/or leagues involved.
